Accounts, plans and billing
In short: you can try Shot3D with 3 exports and no account, and a free account gives you 10 exports a day. To subscribe, click Sign up (with Google or email), then choose a plan in Plans & billing. New customers can try Pro for £1 for 3 days with up to 25 exported images, after which it continues at £10 a month unless cancelled. Upgrades are charged the prorated difference, downgrades are credited, and you can cancel any time from Manage billing. Payments are handled securely by Stripe.

Each image counts as one export: a batch of 5 models is 5, and a contact sheet, video or GIF is 1. The Export menu shows how many you have left. The daily count resets at midnight UTC.
Every plan includes all the presets, lighting, backgrounds, material overrides, camera tools and file formats.

When you're signed out, the top right of the studio shows Pricing, Sign in and Sign up:

Create an account
Click Sign up, either in the top bar or on a plan in Plans & billing. You'll be asked your month and year of birth first, which is only checked on your device:

Choose Continue with Google, or enter your email address and a password and follow the steps. Already have an account? Click Sign in instead.
Once you're signed in, the top bar shows your current plan. Click it at any time to open Plans & billing. Your account menu (your profile picture) also has Plans & billing, along with options to manage your account and sign out.
Start the £1 Pro trial
If you haven't subscribed before, Pro shows a 3 days for £1 offer:
- Signed in, open Plans & billing (or click Try Pro for £1 in the top bar). Before checkout, you confirm that you're 18 or over or have a parent or guardian's permission, and that you want your plan to start straight away.
- Click Start 3-day trial for £1 on the Pro plan.
- You're taken to Stripe's secure checkout. It shows the £1 charge today and the £10 monthly price that follows. Enter your card details and confirm.
- You're returned to the studio with Pro unlocked straight away.
What happens next: we email you before the trial ends. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription continues at £10 a month. If you cancel during the trial, you keep Pro until the 3 days are up and won't be charged again. The trial is available once per customer.
To subscribe to Studio, click Upgrade to Studio instead. It starts straight away at the full price.
Upgrade or switch plans
Subscribed customers can change plan from Plans & billing:
- Upgrading (Pro to Studio) takes effect immediately. Before you confirm, Shot3D shows the exact amount you'll pay now: the difference between the plans for the rest of your billing period, with your unused time credited. Click Confirm and pay to finish.
- Switching down (Studio to Pro) also takes effect immediately. There's nothing to pay now. The value of your unused time is credited to your account and taken off future bills.
- During the Pro trial, upgrading to Studio ends the trial and starts Studio at its full price.
Every change shows a plain-English summary before anything is charged, and you can click Back to cancel.
Manage billing and cancel
On your current paid plan, click Manage billing in Plans & billing. This opens Stripe's secure billing portal, where you can:
- update your card or billing details
- see and download past invoices
- cancel your subscription
When you cancel, you keep your paid features until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. There are no cancellation fees.
Security and privacy
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Shot3D never sees or stores your full card number.
- Sign-in is handled by Clerk, with optional sign-in with Google.
- Your 3D models are never uploaded, whatever your plan.

Do I need an account to use Shot3D?
Not to try it: you can open the studio and export 3 images without one. After that, a free account gives you 10 exports a day. You also need an account to subscribe.
How does the £1 trial work?
You pay £1 for 3 days of Pro. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it continues at £10 a month. We email you before it renews, and you can cancel any time from Manage billing.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Plans & billing, click Manage billing on your current plan, and cancel in Stripe's billing portal. You keep your plan until the end of the paid period.
Can I get a refund?
